Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. started an EV Pilot Program in collaboration with the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSARG). In the mid of March, a launch ceremony and test drive event were successfully held. Apart from Japan, Hong Kong is the first market in Asia to introduce the Nissan LEAF. 200 units of 100% electric, zero-emission Nissan LEAF, began to be delivered to the Hong Kong government, power companies and other green companies from May 2011 onwards, in order to commit to making a better world through its commitment to corporate social responsibility and make a better world through zero-emission mobility.
